A little bit about me

I have studied photography for the last six years, with the Open College of Arts and currently with the British Academy of Photography, and I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society.

Photography is my passion.

I am an accredited celebrant and member of the Academy of Professional Celebrants. 

Being a celebrant is my vocation.

I believe in making a positive contribution to society. 

Throughout my life, in my career and in play, I have learned that only by truly connecting with people can you change lives and add value to the world.

That career involved taking small start-up companies and helping them grow and flourish. It allowed me to travel the globe and to meet people from many cultures and backgrounds.

By getting to know these people and working closely with them – the people who

bring the ideas and the inspiration – I’ve been able to play my own small part in

turning visions into reality.

I’ve learned that giving others the ability to express themselves, to be heard, and

understood, will always reap rewards.

So now I’m taking that lesson to make my own contribution to families and

communities across Scotland, through my core values of equality, integrity, understanding, and compassion.

As a husband, a father and a soon-to-be grandfather, I know what brings me riches

far beyond what I ever found in the business world.

It’s what everyone deserves and what should be celebrated.

So here I am. Ready to help you do just that. Whether it’s preserving the past,

revelling in the present or looking to the future, I know how much it means.

And it is my honour to help you express this day to remember in your own particular

way.
